Abstract
Internuclear ophthalmoplegia (INO) occurs due to the deterioration of the relationship between the nuclei of the oculomotor nerves in the lesion of the medial longitudinal fascicle (MLF), which allows the eyeballs to move together.
INO: While it may be the result of demyelinating diseases (MS, etc.) in young patients, vasculitides (Behçet, etc.), sarcoidosis, neoplastic (medulloblastoma, etc.), trauma and infectious (Lyme, etc.) agents may take place in its etiology. In elderly patients, it is usually seen due to stroke.
